Quality Manager

Description:
A Quality Manager job is currently available at Belcan in Bamberg, South Carolina. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have five years of quality engineering experience with ISO9001 requirements in a mechanical, micro machining facility, preferably in the automotive or fuel nozzle industry. You will be conducting the activities of a quality manager dealing with ISO9001 compliance, including internal auditing, and process assessments, along with handling quality issues and escapes, and managing the quality engineering and inspection processes.

Quality Manager job duties:
* ISO 9001 compliance
* Management of Quality Engineering function, dealing with new product development through production completion of product, and aftermarket issues. This includes drawing and process sheet reviews and revisions, FAI's, process improvements, inspections, and escapes
* Responsible for inline and final inspection activities

Qualifications:
* Should have at least 5 years experience in the quality engineering field
* 2 year engineering degree or equivalent
* Background with ISO9001 requirements, and automotive quality requirements
* Experience in a machining type environment, preferably micro machining
* Legal authorization to work in the US required

Desired but not required skills:
* 4 years engineering degree or equivalent experience
* ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
