Electronics Technician

Description:
Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Requirements:
Candidate MUST be solder certified to IPC-610 and J-STD
Must be familiar with operation of electronic lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, wave form generators etc.)
Must be able to build cables and bread boards from engineering sketches and verbal instructions
Must be able to troubleshoot printed circuit boards to component level
Must have good problem solving skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have active DOD Clearance at Secret Level
Must have an Associate’s degree OR 5 years minimum experience.

Desired Experience:
Experience with underwater vehicles, torpedo and sonar electronics
Experience with RF troubleshooting
Experienced with MS Office
