Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: 1st

Summary:
Under moderate supervision, assist with the removal/installation of avionics components, wire harness fabrication, installations, terminations, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures based on blueprints and engineering drawings.
Complete tasks within allotted time frames.
Maintain required logs and records.
Follow company FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety regulations.
Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Must be able to use a multimeter.
Entry-level position.
Preferred: 6 months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience.
Preferred: Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of youth apprenticeship program.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills and general software knowledge.
