JOB TITLE: Senior Aircraft Technician (A&P)
LOCATION: Savannah, GA

Summary:
Perform complex aircraft maintenance and modifications, including installation/removal of airframes, landing gear, engines, electrical systems, and control systems in compliance with FAA and company standards.
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical systems.
Complete maintenance tasks within quoted or standard CMP times.
Provide guidance and direction to assigned technicians; act as MTL in their absence.
Ensure accurate and timely work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and documentation.
Coordinate with Inspection to ensure FAA and internal compliance.
Tag and securely store customer property and aircraft components.
Operate and supervise ground support equipment and tools.
Coordinate aircraft movement as required.
Assist with training new hires on systems, manuals, and procedures.
Use material tracking systems for parts and labor entries.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 6S and Lean practices.
Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in flight tests as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3 years on mid-to-large-size aircraft.
Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
Valid Driver's License required.
Strong knowledge of inspection/maintenance procedures and technical reference materials.
Familiarity with FAA regulations, company policies, Repair Station and QC manuals.
Proficient in using maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, and engineering drawings.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
