Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 Job Description

Monday - Friday core hours: 9am - 3pm (work 8 hour days start and end time can vary as long as they work the core hours)
M&F REMOTE – TWTh IN OFFICE

JOB SCOPE

• Perform independent QAQC on Distribution Engineering Designs

• Perform Engineering Audits with limited scope on Distribution Engineering Designs

• Subject Matter Expert for distribution system

• Ability to use Pole Foreman

• Knows how to use AS8

• Knows Construction Specifications and Standards

• Applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction

• Deviation remediations – immediate concern oversight, tracking completions, and provide individual communications to operations

• Schedule/coordinate weekly audits

• Ensure learnings are sent to all necessary engineering depts. Work with internal engineering depts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (2) (3) Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.

• Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory.

• Detailed knowledge of applicable standards, codes methods, and practices unique to areas of expertise.

• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to identify and resolve complex issues.
