Are you a hands-on problem solver with expertise in facility and equipment maintenance? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our aerospace operations. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting will help maintain critical infrastructure.
 

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of plant facilities, office spaces, and industrial equipment. Your expertise will help prevent breakdowns and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.

• Conduct routine inspections to assess maintenance needs and prevent equipment failures.

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment using hand and power tools.

• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to execute repairs.

• Provide management support, including monitoring building alarm systems.

• Maintain and operate boiler systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in facility and equipment maintenance.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.     

Preferred:

• College education or technical training.

• Familiarity with boiler operations and building alarm systems.

• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
