PDS Tech Commercial Inc, is seeking candidates for an Drawing Checker position in Everett, WA.

Job Title: Drawing Checker
Job Type: Full time; 6 Months
Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Schedule: M-F 6AM - 6PM (flexible start/end times as long as start is between 6AM-9AM and 8hr/day)
Pay Rate: $41.37 per hour


Position Description:

• A successful candidate will be responsible for checking and verifying engineering drawings and related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality, and use of design standards where work is of a complex nature by performing the following duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify engineering drawings to best practices and standards.

• Works with engineering personnel to resolve discrepancies.

• Redline drawings in electronic format and communicates back to engineering team.

• Must be able to work independently and as a team

• Performs other related tasks as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft offices including excel, word, and outlook.

• Must have the ability to read 3D models, drawings, and Bill of Materials

• Must have excellent communication skills

• Fundamental understanding of GD&T

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Ability to calculate and understand tolerance stack up analysis which involves the concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• NX (formally Unigraphics)

• Siemens Teamcenter

• Experience with commercial Aircraft monuments or other interior products.

• Familiarity with aerospace standards

• Familiarity with Adobe Reader

• ASME Y14
