PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Production Specialist in Goleta, CA

Title: Production Specialist
Pay:  $29/hour
Location: Goleta, CA
Shift: 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Type: Contract – up to 12 months

Job Description

• Experience in Operation of semiconductor style equipment (coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, deposition, metrology, Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film metrology, inspection tools, hybridizers etc) to build hardware.

• Following written procedures and work instructions

• Handling fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.

• Documenting data on travelers and in the electronic database

• Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.

• Cross-training will be on going and requires the ability to learn new processes, equipment, techniques through guidance and direction from their trainers.

• Routine work is performed without supervision.

Desired Skill Sets

• More than six years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly or manufacturing.

• Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.

• Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.

• Ability to multitask.

• The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory’s needs is strongly desired.

Years of Experience
Minimum 6 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly or manufacturing.

Education
High School Diploma or GED
