Aircraft Assembly Mechanic-(10 plus years experience MANDATORY)

    Description :Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and otherstructural and system components, working from drawings, documents,process specifications, quality control requirements, and establishedprocesses and procedures. Functional test and correct, fit form andfunction of assemblies and components.1. Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, workinstructions, documents, verbal and electronic information.2. Use shop mathematics and precision measuring and or test instrumentsto complete work assignments and functional test assemblies andcomponents.3. Utilize tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies orend items.4. Verify work performed is per work instructions and meets processand/or engineering specification. Identify discrepancies found perapplicable procedure.5. Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.6. Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of their dailywork duties (e.g., where applicable, replacing machine filters, changingstandard light bulbs on machines and equipment, maintaininglubrication/coolant levels, etc. as related to basic Total PreventativeMaintenance duties).7. Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work area,including across isle, using shop assigned equipment as required, andcomplete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.On an exception basis, move product to the next operation within abuilding.8. Perform work within allotted schedules.9. Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturingprocess by training and assisting employees at all classificationlevels.10. Assist in the training of other assembly personnel in assembly,installation and inspections techniques.11. Cross trains in inspection and becomes SIA qualified.Level CEmployee must have the skill and knowledge to perform in all of thegeneral functions of theAssembly Mechanic listed below:Assembly/Installation StructuresSub AssemblySealer Requirements:

    Training days will be MONDAY and WEDNESDAY

    Targeting to start 50 candidates each MONDAY and WEDNESDAY until the requisition is filled.

    ***DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES who cannot pass a plate test"

    ***DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES who are not firm in their start date, they will be rejected if the start date changes too many times***

    WORKERS MUST BE ABLE TO START ASAP!

    Workers must be able to work any shift needed.

    For safety purposes, sturdy, full-cover, low heeled shoes must be worn in the shop areas.

    Dresses, skirts and jewelry are not allowed in the shop areas to avoid accidents and injuries.

    Safety Steel-toed shoes/boots

    Contractors will work in the 737 fuselage area so they must have strong sheet metal experience.

    Must be able to pass the Plate Test

    Blueprint required

    We will be reviewing the resumes based on the experience. DO NOT SUBMIT a bill rate that does not match the experience.
