Structural Analysis Engineer 3

Description:

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest aerospace companies!

The contracts are regularly extended and direct opportunities are often available.

Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product''s environment. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general direction.

Hybrid role with 3 days on site, 2 days virtual in Berkeley, MO.
Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense. Local preferred.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
6+ years structural analysis experience - NOTE: A relevant post graduate degree (MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil engineering) can substitute for relevant work experience
Experience using hand calcs, CATIA/ENOVIA, FEM software (ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks), Composite Structure, Damage Tolerance, Fatigue, Analysis documentation (SCN)
Experience with Company Commercial Aircraft structure
