Industrial HVAC and Maintenance Mechanic

Description:
An Industrial HVAC and Maintenance Mechanic job in Mesa, AZ is currently available through Belcan with one of our Construction clients. You will be responsible to troubleshoot all aspects of Medium/High Voltage equipment for an industrial steel production facility. This job is a direct opportunity with excellent benefits!

Industrial HVAC and Maintenance Mechanic Job duties:

* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause
* Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actions
* Determine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wires
* Monitor and inspect equipment for defects. Properly remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools
* Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operation
* Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* HVAC Technical School preferred not required
* 2+ years of electrical maintenance experience
* Must be able to interpret blueprints, drawing, and schematics
* Determine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wires
* Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures.
* Ability to work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidays
* 1+ years of HVAC experience required
* Industrial heating and AC repair experience preferred
