PDS Tech Commercial is seeking motivated individuals for Electrical Installer positions in North Charleston, SC to support the 787 Program. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Electrical Installer

• Job Type: Full-Time (12-month contract)

• Location: North Charleston, SC 29418

• Pay Rate: $26.83 – $32.62 per hour

• Shifts: Must be available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on business needs

What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Electrical Installer, you’ll perform essential tasks to ensure aircraft systems are safely and accurately wired. You will:

• Route wire harnesses to supports following blueprints and specifications

• Build, splice, crimp, and terminate wires

• Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components

• Conduct rework and repairs per engineering directives

• Perform fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light loss testing, routing, and installation

• Complete bonding and grounding operations, including resistance testing

Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience in a technical or manufacturing role using hand and pneumatic tools

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, or detailed work instructions in English

• Proficient in software for internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 35 lbs, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working with high-hazard chemicals

• Willingness to work any shift based on business need

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience interpreting engineering documentation and performing electrical assembly

• Previous aerospace or complex system assembly experience
