Join our dynamic team! In a team-oriented work environment and under moderate supervision, you will perform various structural assembly operations in our production department.
Assembly and Fitting: Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, and varied drilling and riveting operations, ensuring parts/assemblies meet requirements.
Riveting: Use all necessary tools (e.g., portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills) to rivet structural assemblies and parts.
Blueprint Reading: Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine the sequence of operations, type, size, and hole pattern for rivets.
Quality Check: Ensure all work is defect-free before final inspection.
Logs and Records: Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
Alignment and Assembly: Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
Housekeeping: Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company’s 5S Program, and comply with all safety regulations.
Supervision: Work under moderate supervision on assigned duties and tasks.
Lean Activities: Support lean manufacturing activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
Proficient in reading a 6" scale.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform basic shop math.
Capability to read and comprehend basic documents and instructions.
Essential personal skills including an aptitude for hands-on craftwork, professional attitude, attention to detail, ability to work with people, and meeting demanding schedules.
Commitment to good housekeeping and safety practices.
Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
Physical capability to lift 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work any shift.
Ability to climb ladders/stands/stairs and work in small spaces and/or restricted areas.
