What You’ll Do:

Work as part of team and become a major contributor to growing our next generation of engineers.
Provide engineering and technical decisions for company Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others), Commercial Aircraft (737, 767, 787 and 777), and other diverse projects.
Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
Provide an excellent opportunity to learn aircraft circuit design on the various platforms.
Perform design, development and integration of Group A and Group B hardware.
Responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle including: requirements, system design, test, sustainment, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management.
Lead work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in DOORS
Lead and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Lead work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Review supplier and partner qualification data
LRU Design/Analysis/Layout/Manufacturing
COTS design/integration
Perform Trade Studies/Modeling (reliability and thermal)
Cross-functional coordination and integration
Develop Design Requirements and Plans
Provide Engineering Support to Supplier Management Procurement Activities
Perform Engineering Investigations and Troubleshooting Efforts
Develop and perform Acceptance Test Procedures and Environment Stress and Screening
Develop automated test equipment to support aircraft test requirements
Lead analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products
Lead development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
Lead reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements
Identify, track and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements
Lead activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services
Coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
Plan research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
Work under minimal mentorship

What You’ll Need:

Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
5 or more years of experience in Electrical Engineering
5 or more years of experience with PSpice or LTSpice
5 or more years of experience with DxDesigner
1 or more years of experience with DOORS Requirements Management Tool
1 or more years of experience with Capital Logic
1 or more years of experience with MIL-STD-810
1 or more years of experience with Mentor tools Suite or equivalent (schematic entry, layout, routing, SI, power analysis)
This position requires that you work out of Oklahoma City, OK
Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time as required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis, and/or design for manufacturing
Active U.S. Security Clearance
ABET accreditation is preferred
Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
Previous experience with DO-160
Previous experience in Electrical Design
Previous experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Labview
Previous experience with Relays and Switches
Circuit design, including some of the following:
Embedded processors
High end FPGAs, SOC FPGAs, state-of-the-art memory devices
Standard communications and storage protocols
Low power FPGAs, CPLDs
Power sequencing, monitoring, management
Previous experience with Power distribution design
Previous experience with system and circuit level fault isolation
Previous experience with box level and card level test planning and procedures
Previous experience with developing and coordinating supplier design requirements
The candidate must be an effective communicator, work well on collaborative designs, thrive in a dynamic work environment


*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry combined with 5 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
