Aircraft Aerodynamic Shape Design - China.

Our Aerospace Client in China requires additional support for their current and future programs. They desire an Engineer or Specialist with strong experience In Aircraft Aerodynamic Shape Design.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client and to significantly contribute towards the success of their existing and new aircraft programs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Degree qualified or Doctorate level.

Have a strong level of aircraft overall design and aerodynamic shape design, have rich experience in whole aircraft aerodynamic shape design and multidisciplinary optimization and analysis, and have participated in shape design of many models (15 years or above).

Have rich experience in shape quality control, proficient in the shape design workflow, quality control system and quality improvement methods of the models.

Proficient in the formulation method of shape tolerance index, proficient in aircraft waste resistance control, master the factors influencing tolerance formulation, and be able to carry out analysis

Familiar with aircraft structure design and process design, familiar with the method of dimensional tolerance allocation, able to accurately grasp the key sensitive factors affecting aircraft performance index, and formulate optimization measures.

Have rich experience in aircraft shape deviation evaluation, and have strong ability to analyse, solve, communicate and coordinate aircraft shape related problems encountered in engineering, manufacturing and operation.

Have project management experience, can lead the team to carry out the work of aircraft shape quality control and shape quality improvement

Equivalent qualification of aerodynamic shape design and six sigma qualification are preferred

Master the development trend of new technology in the industry, have certain foresight, and be able to use the existing resources of the company to carry out advanced theoretical research and design analysis of aerodynamic shape

Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing

Role and Duties:

Assist the department leaders to control and improve the aerodynamic shape and shape quality of aircraft products, and improve the shape professional ability system and design quality management system
Assist the chief model engineer in tackling major engineering problems and key technologies of shape specialty
Advanced aerodynamic shape theory research and design analysis.

Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China full time on a fixed term contract basis - duration 1-3 years. Applicants are asked to highlight their relevant experience upon application. Possibilities exist for Part Time position as well as Full Time.
