Material & Process Technical Analyst 4

Description:
Seeking Materials and Process Technical Analyst 4

Reviews incoming composite materials and parts and assigns testing requirements in accordance with defined specifications. Coordinates work flow of testing of incoming materials or parts. Performs complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes or equipment through testing to prescribed specifications to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements. Analyses include mechanical testing of composite coupons; i.e lap shear, sandwich peel. Additional analyses included testing of prepreg and laminate properties; for example, Tg, resin content, flow, gel time. Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by leading the evaluation and implementation of lab work processes. Provides technical expertise, application knowledge and performance history to internal. Supports the training and development of others. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Computer proficiency
2) Laboratory Experience of any sort

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Adhesive/Composite Experience or any level

EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. BS in Engineering or Science Preferred.
