NC Programmer

Description:
Job Description-
Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings,Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Document and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.

******Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences as required.

******Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required.

******Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs.

******Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment.

******Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs.

******Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design
******Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures.

******Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.

******Supports producibility assessments when requested.

******Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.

******Will meet established company
cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.

******Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by management.

******Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact with internal and external customers.

******Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work.

******Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by
management to remain current with technological advancements.

Educational Requirements:
******Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry. Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the
application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.

******Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

******This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms
