Field Service Representative (fighter aircraft)

Description:
100% Onsite.

*** Active DOD Secret clearance required ***

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Provide advice and guidance to customer on operational and troubleshooting issues for F/A-18 Avionics systems, its wiring, and specialty coverage.
o Aviation Electrical background, with in debt knowledge / experience troubleshooting Electrical System related discrepancies.
o Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues.
o Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
o Develops and conducts ad-hoc training.
o Interpret technical documents and monitors Avionics/Wiring product performance, o Uses multi-disciplined technical expertise and company product support resources to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
o Utilizes the Client Field Operations VECTOR system to record issues and get reach-back support.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Minimum 7 years interpreting engineering drawings, schematics & technical publications.
o At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
o 5+ years of experience on F/A-18 Hornet Avionics and Wiring Repair.
o 5-7 years avionic technician for F-18 platform (required).
o Military background required.
o 5-7 years Electrical system background.
o Reading and interpret electrical schematics/drawings.
o Interpretation IETMS.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High school diploma along with military experience

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
