Automotive Catia v6 Design Engineer REMOTE

Description:
Automotive CATIA v6 Sheet metal Design Engineer
MUST SEE 3 years of Catia, ABAQUS FE, sheetmetal and extensive GSD workbench experience!! You also have to train ONSITE in Raymond OHIO for 2 weeks before going remote.
**Must have STRONG Generative Shape Design (GSD) Workbench experience**
BSME DEGREE REQUIRED & MUST have 3+ years of CATIA design experience:
Requires a BSME or MSME in Mechanical Engineering.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for Automotive components and systems.
Duties:
- Utilize Catia V6 GSD to develop mechanical designs of sheet metal parts and technical drawings
- Conduct linear and nonlinear ABAQUS FE solutions of parts for fatigue and strength evaluation or part.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to optimize designs for manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Catia Surfacing for sheet metal design
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design techniques
- Experience with FEA analysis tools
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering REQUIRED
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis on design issues
