Quality Coordinator
The Quality Assurance Coordinator who can thrive under minimal supervision. The Quality Assurance Coordinator applies clerical standards, principles, and data techniques to archive documentation, manage data, process purchase requests, manage credential logs and issuance, and oversee all calibrated equipment, in accordance with QMS requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform documentation archival process in accordance with department standards and QMS requirements
Audit final assembly inspection documentation to ensure results in accordance with QMS requirements
Work with configuration management to ensure work instruction templates are submitted and updated accordingly
Place department purchase requests and track department purchase orders to ensure follow-through and completed requests take place
Track and report allocation of funds for various projects/department needs
Manage credential log and issuance process, archive proper documentation in accordance with QMS standards
Maintain data sheets and certificates for all calibrated equipment and work in parallel with calibration house and tool control coordinators in accordance with QMS standards to ensure all tool calibration and on-site calibration needs are met
Communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with personnel from inspection, procurement, legal, production, and management to submit requests/follow-up, and ensure all tasks at hand are completed correctly and in an efficient manner under QMS requirements.
Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
What you bring
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry standards
Experience in data projects or data entry
Ability to work with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and strong working knowledge of Excel
Ability to work in a fast-past, manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Oracle ERP system
Knowledge of TIP QA Database System
Basic math and technical writing skills
Attention to detail and follow through
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel
Ability to learn processes and data software in a timely manner/quick learner
Must be able to lift 35 pounds (unassisted)
Education/Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1 year of clerical or data entry experience
