NC Programmer III

Description:

Job Description:
Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction.

Must Haves:
• CNC 5axis composite trim programming aerospace.
• NC Programmer of 5 axis routers to perform trim and drill operations on composite panels for an aircraft.
• Must have experience with 5 axis programming, MasterCam, Vericut, able to interpret GD&T, UG/NX or Catia experience.
• Must be able to use technology effectively to communicate.
• 5+ years of experience programming 5 axis.
• Software skills required are MasterCam, Vericut, Catia or UG/NX
• Experience working at one or more of the following companies would be a plus, Boeing, Spirit, Northrop Grumman, Airbus.
