Stress Engineer

Description:
Stress Analysis Engineer is responsible for analysis activities related to preparation and release of engineering data for precision metallic or composite components comprising dynamic mechanical systems.
******Education Requirements:
****Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.

*****Must have experience with CATIA V5/V6/3DX preferred. Other similar solid modeling CAD tools such as Pro/E, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, etc. will be considered.
******Must have working knowledge of GD&T requirements preferred.
******Must have proficiency with analytical tools or codes such as Mathcad, MATLAB, Python, Excel Visual Basic, etc. to execute custom in-house macros or results processing techniques.
******Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA to drive product lifecycle.
******Previous experience working on cross functional engineering programs.
******Position Requirements:
****** Must have multiple levels of experience will be considered with at least 2 years of airframe stress analysis.
******Must have experience with NASTRAN (and visible on the resume)
****In addition, experience with at least one analysis pre/post-processor is required, including but not limited to: PATRAN, HyperWorks, Femap.
******Detailed finite element analysis (FEA) experience focused on metallic, laminated composite, castings, forgings, additive, elastomeric, or other precision components.
