You Will:

• Applies engineering principles to test and evaluate embedded software in avionics systems.
• Create and update requirements-based cases, procedures, and scripts.
• Working knowledge of requirements-based testing tools and methods.
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle to include capability to break system and software requirements into associated tests.
• Prefer a knowledge of DOORS with ability to link requirements to test procedures.
• Working knowledge of multiple software development languages. Prefer a knowledge of C, C# and Python.
• Plans, supports, and manages integration projects to meet customer requirements.
• Works closely with other functional disciplines to ensure compliance to all critical performance parameters.

You’ll Need:
• Familiarity with military aerospace requirements development and verification processes.
• Experience with version control software such as Serena Dimensions (PVCS).
• Experience with MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, RS-232 and RS-422.
• Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate across multiple internal and external organizations.
• PC proficiency in Visio, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
•
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Electrical Engineering and/or Computing Engineer is preferred.
• Other Engineering degrees considered with sufficient software development experience.

Years of Experience: 5-10+ years engineering in the Aerospace industry
Citizenship: US Citizen required
