Design and Analysis Engineer 1

Location: Saint Louis, MO
Duration: 6+ Months

Description:
Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements. Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements. Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring suppliers'' performance to ensure compliance with requirements. Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies. Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

Working on test equipment repairs. Looking @ electrical drawings and fixing obsolesce issues with parts. Estimating repairs needed for broken test equipment. Coordinating with procurement to get repair parts for support equipment.

Top 3-5 technical/software skills needed to perform this role/job:
Read electrical schematics and drawings. Experience with support equipment like DMMs, O Scopes, function generators, experience with communication protocols like 1553, RS422 or 232, ARINC 429

BSEE (required) bachelors in electrical engineering

Education / Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
