Electronics Design Engineer

Description:
Johnson Service Group is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer in the Simsbury, CT area. This is an opportunity for an engineer to use and grow their experience in the field of electronic hardware design.

Requirements
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 6+ years’ experience
Hardware Verification and Validation
Problem Solving/Root Cause Analysis
Analog, Digital, or Mixed Signal Circuit Design Experience
Power Electronics Design Experience
Knowledge and experience with Microcontrollers and Microprocessor Platforms, Hardware Architecture with Real Time Operating Systems
Knowledge and experience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards
Skills Needed
Altium Designer
MATLAB
Circuit simulation software
Embedded Systems (PIC, MPLAB )
Safety Subsystem Design & Analyses
Test procedures, test reports, and technical writing
Experience with safety critical Aerospace & Defense electronics products
DFT/DFM
