Description:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking candidates for an Electrical Design and Analyst Engineer -Microelectronics position in El Segundo, CA.

Job Description Summary
Join the team responsible for establishing a Processor Architecture for a new and exciting product line.
Work with leading ARM, RISC-V, and others cores.
Architect, and implement the SoC architecture integrating multiple processor cores.
Be involved in all phases of design, from architecture definition, to tapeout within a team environment, utilizing latest toolsets
Candidates will work in a team setting, under general supervision, with a large degree of autonomy.

Required qualifications:
A creative and inventive mindset of pushing the boundaries in conventional System-on-Chip design, as well as space electronics reliability.
A successful candidates need to show that they have integrated and verified ARM cores.
Integration via HDL generation and ARM tools, verification via UVM.
Proven track record of first path success in ARM-based SoC integration and verification.
Ability to work in SystemVerilog for design and verification.
Knowledge of C/C++/Assembly for bare metal coding is a plus.

Hard skillset/background
7+ years of SME ARM, RISC-V, and others cores.
Architect, and implement the SoC architecture integrating multiple processor cores
Be involved in all phases of design, from architecture definition, to tapeout within a team environment, utilizing latest toolsets.

Education/experience:
Edu requirements: Must have a min B.S in one of the STEM programs
Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
