Description:
ACTUAL TITLE: E&T Ignite DX Manager
E&T Ignite DX Manager will be responsible for working across Engineering and Technology organizations to plan, focus, and execute implementation of Digital Transformation (DX) tools, processes, and training for MFC programs in adapting to and adopting DX processes and standards in their program area or on their specific programs as a part of the Ignite (DX early adopter) initiative.
The DX Manager will represent MFC E&T Digital Transformation teams as well as supporting groups on the Ignite Team. As processes and tools are made available by the DX teams, the Ignite Manager will assist implementation on programs identified in the Ignite initiative. Working with these Ignite programs, plans for executing DX will be developed, budgeted, implemented, and tracked. As a member of the DX team, the Ignite Manager will have secondary duties supporting DX initiatives that may included multi-business area teams, stakeholder (downstream DX user) support, and the weekly business meeting rhythm.
The Ignite DX Manager will report up to the senior manager of Technical Staff.

Duties:
-Performs a broad array of Technical Illustration, editing and layouts in support of software configuration for work instruction creation on the Delmia Velocity product for Camden.
-Support team of engineers, technicians, inspectors and other technical experts to create product assembly instructions.
-From rough drafts or existing text supplied by Manufacturing Engineers (MEs), condense written process instructions into the simplest possible terms to provide a concise, easily understood series of steps needed to create a product.
-Working from engineering drawings, existing 3D CAD files, photographs or videos, sketches, written and sometimes verbal descriptions, use graphics software to create technical illustrations that accurately depict key events and changes to the product that occur during product build.

Tooling Inspector Sr.

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Tooling Inspector Sr. for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Savannah, GA.

** Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident **

Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma/GED. Valid Driver’s License required. Must be proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation, shop math, and quality control manual as required. Eight (8) years technically related experience to include at least six (6) years related inspection experience.

Other Requirements: 1. Ability to import and export inspection data in many different formats (Word, Excel, PDF, etc.). 2. Model Base systems (Cadam, Catia V4, Catia V5) experience preferred. 3. Must be proficient in use of inspection tools and equipment. 4. Must be proficient in use of conventional optical measurement equipment. 5. Must be competent with theodolite and laser tracker systems. 6. Ability to recognize potential problems with drawings and elevate to management. 7. Must be competent with coordinate measurement machines (CMM). 8. Must be competent with electronic tool record keeping system. 9. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds & pass the vision test as required by area job responsibilities. 10. Must have good communication skills.

Position Purpose:
Under limited supervision, performs inspection duties and assists other tooling inspectors in general and technical aspects of Quality Control in a specified area of tooling inspection.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Prepares inspection documentation and maintains files as required. Ensures current engineering revisions are incorporated per established procedures. 2. Performs periodic inspections to ensure compliance per FAA requirements and approved quality procedures. 3. Creates Model Base inspection processes using CATIA model-based tool designs that can be used for both fabrication and rework of tools by the tool shop personnel. 4. Analyzes data using Metrologic inspection software and create electronic quality folders in SmarTeam to store inspection data for all model-based tooling. 5. Promotes and maintains quality standards and processes. 6. Works with tooling suppliers to ensure the inspection data is correct and in the proper format on all incoming tools. 7. Makes recommendations to Tooling Management on continuous improvements in the tooling inspection area. 8. Ensures proper use and storage of area tools, equipment and supplies. Advises management of any associated problems or other requirements.

Additional Functions: 1. Assists other inspectors as required. 2. Performs other duties as assigned.
