Systems Engineer

Description:
This position is 50% remote, 50% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
o Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
o Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 3 + years working experience in DOORS
o 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo
o Broad technical acumen to apply to complex system thinking
o Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
o Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
o Willingness to work onsite in a lab environment

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with C++, MATLAB is a plus
o Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
o Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD is a plus

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) degrees considered.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
