Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Description:
A Senior Electrical Design Engineer job in Shawnee, OK is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will design high performance and reliability electronics for high tech aerospace applications, and oversee development activities related to product qualification, approval and launch. To be considered for this role, you must be a self-starter with strong communication skills, and an understanding of EMI/EMC, MTBF and FMEA.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Job Duties
* Design and/or development of new products based on customer specs and customer requirements
* Evaluate existing designs for incorporation into newly developed products
* Oversee product drawings, tests, and specifications for newly designed products
* Evaluate and analyze requirements for qualification procedures
* Create appropriate test flows, test designs, and analyses to incorporate design requirement verification
* Analyzing statement of work (SOW) for supporting solicitation process
* Create schematics and board layout
* Obtain, review, and maintain necessary specifications to define projects
* Perform functional and theoretical analyses on designed products
* Oversee and assist with ATP's, QTP's, customer deliverables, and SAR packages
* Maintain familiarity with a variety of latest concepts, practices and procedures
* Skilled user of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word) and Design software

Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or 15+ years of relevant experience in related field
* Analog and digital circuits capture and layout
* High speed analog acquisition
* Microcontroller and FPGA interfaces and programming
* Firm understanding of DO-160 and mil standard 810 development and testing
