Senior Affordability Engineer - Level 3

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Senior Affordability Engineer - Level 3 for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Canoga Park, CA.

** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship **
** An Active Secret Clearance is highly preferred, but not required **

Typical duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
-Lead or assist with should-cost estimates for proposals.
-Lead or assist with PRICE TruePlanning estimates of propulsion system costs and associated component costs.
-Lead or support Design-to-Cost efforts on programs.
-Build a strong working relationship with the other company employees to ensure that the group's capabilities are fully utilized and that the group's results are meeting customer needs.
-Embrace a continuous improvement mindset.
-Demonstrate a 100% commitment to quality in actions, decisions, and conversations.

Skills:
-Experience with COTS parametric and other hardware modeling tools is highly desired.
-Advance Excel skills
-Understanding of how to best segregate and capture product costs is preferred
-Familiarization with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle systems is preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
-Strong work ethic and drive to succeed are required
-Ability to work with all levels of company's organization is required
-Local candidate preferred.

Education:
-Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related discipline and at least 9 years directly related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
