Nacelle and Thrust Reverser Development Specialist - China.


Our Aerospace Client in China requires additional support for their current and future pro.grams. They desire an Engineer or Specialist with strong experience In Nacelle and Thrust Reverser Development.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client and to significantly contribute towards the success of their existing and new aircraft programs.


Required Experience and Qualifications:
 
  • More than 10 years in the field of civil aircraft nacelle development.
  • Experience in nacelle component design and system integration research and development.
  • Directly participated in the certification of nacelle airworthiness.
  • Aircraft system engineering design.
  • Design of reverse thrust device for civil aircraft nacelle.
  • Civil aircraft nacelle design and integration.
  • Be able to design the thrust reverser independently.
  • Be able to lead the team to carry out nacelle design and integration work.
  • Conscientiousness, good teamwork spirit, good communication and coordination ability, multi-cultural working atmosphere.
  • Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Degree qualified or Doctorate.
   Role and Duties:
 
  • Define, analyse and confirm the nacelle requirements, especially the nacelle requirements from the engine.
  • Design, verification and forensics of the reverse thrust device of the specified model nacelle, and lead the team to improve the reverse thrust integrated design ability.
  • Component design and system integration scheme of specified type nacelle.
  • Specify the type of nacelle test verification and forensics planning, Preparation of standards and specifications related to nacelle design and integration.
  • Training on nacelle design and integration.
  • Participate in solving the difficult problems in the operation of the specified model route and flight test certification stage, and provide technical consultation.
  • Participate in the trade-off of new technology and new scheme for specified type of nacelle.
  • Participate in the key core technology research of nacelle integrated design and integration.

Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China full time  on a fixed term contract basis - duration 1-3 years. Applicants are asked to highlight their relevant experience upon application.
