RF Engineering Manager

Description:
An RF Engineering Manager job in Round Rock, TX is currently available through Belcan with one of our Electronics repair clients in the semi-conductor industry. You will be responsible for all engineering activity at company. Products include Radio frequency and DC power delivery systems. To be considered for this role, you will need a BSEE or MSEE degree or another relevant engineering field and at least 8 years of relevant experience. This is a great opportunity with a growing company.

RF Engineering Manager Job duties:

* Responsible for all engineering activity at company
* Leads both tactical and strategic technical responses to customer needs.
* Lead a group of experienced engineers to support the repair of over 700 different products, evolving processes, and techniques with new technology.
* Experience in RF and DC equipment for the semi-conductor industry
* Lead the company into a full PLM system upgrade integrated with the existing ERP system.
* Work with outside suppliers such as PCB, PCBA assembly, and Machine Shops to realize designs.
* Mentor growth in both teams and on an individual level.

Qualifications:

* BSEE or MSEE degree or another relevant engineering field.
* Must have three years of experience managing engineering teams delivering successful products/projects-additionally, at least five years of as a practicing engineer with experience in RF or related fields. A total of eight years experience minimum.
* Have a proven ability to manage both Engineering Technicians and Engineering Professionals' teams to motivate, set priorities, and facilitate.
* Understand the difference between a product repair organization and a manufacturing/product production company and what contributes to the productivity of both.
* Demonstrated experience with CAE software such as Genesys, Sonet, Alibre, and Circuit Studio or equivalent tools.
* Applicant will need to have an applied understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines to lead this team.
* Knowledgeable in RF generators and matching networks in the 400KHz to 200 MHz spectrum with power levels of several Kilowatts (not cell phone technology).
