Sr. Software Engineer- Active Secret

Description:
*On-site work-Arlington TX*

This position will do the following:

•Support of computational systems architecture and system software for real-time simulation applications

•Support functional requirements implementation for computer software. Create new and modified simulation models using established modeling techniques


•Design, develop, code, document, test and debug simulation software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions


•Apply software engineering principles to complete assigned tasks and schedule commitments


•Complete work with a reasonable amount of direction


•Must possess the ability to work within and positively contribute to a team environment


•Ability to apply sound engineering principles and develop innovative solutions


•Participate in design reviews


•Prepare, check and coordinate release of support documentation to appropriate program and company standards


•Communicate status and issues along with solutions and recommendations to lead engineers

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
Qualifications

•BS Computer Science or equivalent required


•C/C++ required


•UNIX/LINUX experience required


•FORTRAN, Ada and other programming language experience a plus


•ClearCase experience a plus


•8+ years software engineering experience desired


•Must have good presentation skills


•Active Security clearance required, with the ability to obtain Special Access program clearance.
Scope information:

*Ada is a required programming language. Fortran & C++ are preferred but not required *Qualified Candidates can start with Interim clearance but they must be able to obtain full clearance to be considered for conversion to direct *Strong in Physics, Modeling/Simulation
