Senior Engineering Technician

Description:
A Sr. Engineering Technician job in Kirkland, WA is currently available through Belcan. In this Engineering Technician role, you will build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems while applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, and electronic and electrical testing.

Sr. Engineering Technician duties:
* Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to
perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
* Supports engineering activities such as, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly
of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test
equipment.
* Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to
perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
* Performs compliance testing to industry and customer-defined requirements on new and legacy
electromechanical devices.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* 2-4 years Experience min OR Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology OR related field/equivalent
electronics military schooling and experience required.
* High-power electronics and/or high-power avionics technician experience may be considered in
lieu of formal education. Total qualifying experience must meet the years, duties, skills and
proficiency required to perform the position level standards.
* Proven ability to: work independently as well as part of a team, effectively multi- task,
consistently meet deadlines, prioritize and organize work load.
* Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
