CNC Programmer

Description:
CNC Programmer – NX 5-Axis (Missouri)
Location: Missouri
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Hiring Process: 1 Skype Interview → Hire
Key Responsibilities:
• Transition from Mastercam to Siemens NX for CNC programming
• Specialize in 5-axis NX programming (must-have skill)
• Develop efficient machining methods, tool paths, techniques, and tooling
• Create clear setup instructions, tool lists, and setup sketches
• Use Vericut to verify programs and detect errors (geometry, tool crashes, etc.)
• Adhere to standard tooling packages and machining cell standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve manufacturability issues
• Comply with all quality standards (e.g., AS-9100)
Required Experience:
• 3+ years of 5-axis CNC programming
• 3+ years using Vericut (or similar verification software)
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

Job Location: MO
Duration: 6-12+ months
