A Sr. Buyer/Planner job is available with a client in Sun Valley, CA. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services for raw material, outside processing, and schedule according to Pro Shop (ERP) software demand. To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications and at least 5 years of relevant experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.

Sr. Buyer/Planner Job Duties:

* Experience working within an AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified quality management systems.
* Coordinates with Pro Shop software to meet demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
* Evaluates aerospace process approved vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
* Works with vendors to negotiate volume and pricing.
* Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate, including reasonable terms and conditions agreed upon by Controller.
* Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records, such as Return Material Authorizations (RMA).

Knowledge / Skill / Abilities / Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications.
* At least 5 years of experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment as part of Materials.
* In-depth understanding of materials, testing methods, quality issues involved in aerospace production.
* Experience implementing, auditing and improving AS9100 certified quality management systems.
* Strong experience working with Pro Shop Software preferred.
* APICS Certification preferred.
