Description:
PDS Tech is seeking A&P Mechanics in Newburgh, NY.
In your role, you will:

  • Performs assembly, disassembly and repairs required in the completion of airframe overhaul, repair or modifications, including but not limited to removal, replacement and repair of parts of engines, airframes and systems.
  • Responsible for helping licensed mechanics set up and tear down the equipment, tools and supplies used during the repair of the aircraft.
  • Required to tow and move aircraft during the performance of maintenance duties.
  • Assists in the cleaning of parts and components during the repair and assembly of aircraft.

ABOUT THE JOB:
Seeking lead and contributing engineers for aerospace engine control system bench test development in support of system verification testing for a new aircraft propulsion turbine engine control unit design. The successful lead engineer candidate has exceptional technical skills and a demonstrated history of guiding small engineering teams through the system verification test development process.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant engineering field - mechanical, electrical, systems, aerospace, software, etc.

• Aerospace controls product experience
• System test bench verification experience
• Knowledge of ARP4754A and DO-178 certification guidelines

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience: 

A minimum of three (3) years experience with assembly, mechanical, electrical or aircraft structures as well as able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.

Prepare rejection tags noting deviations from specifications on dimensions, finishes, material, processes, or quality when required.

Identify production inefficiencies and suggests potential improvements to product or process.

    General Summary:
    The Interior Design Engineer will perform interior design engineering for cabin & cockpit structures, components, and trim for aircraft. The individual will also on occasion support tasks associated with interior Installations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Creates conceptual designs for interiors of the aircraft through 3D modeling software, drawings, and/or drafting application.
