LRU and Components Engineer - Engine Control System

Description:
This position is responsible for requirements management of line replaceable units (LRUs) and components used on a new aircraft turbine propulsion system. The successful candidate will have systems engineering experience and understand how to develop and flow system requirements to the individual LRU and components suppliers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering
* Systems requirements flow down & management experience
* Engine LRU technical proficiency and understanding of the interface between various engine LRU and components
* Understanding of design process
* Understanding of qualification process
* DOORS proficiency
* Ability to drive teams to success
* Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Self-motivated, accountable, detail-oriented

PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Supplier Management of Components such as valves, temp/pressure sensors, torque sensors, etc.
