Electronics Technician

Description:
Do you have at least 3 years experience installing and testing electrical aircraft and/or avionics systems? If so, apply today to be a part of our client's team in Kentucky!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment.
* Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies.
* Reads and interprets manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to accomplish work.
* Work under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
* Minimum of 3 years experience installing and testing of aircraft electrical / avionics systems.
* Successful completion of a military or civilian equivalent electrical / avionics training course.
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals / technical orders.
* Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools and applicable test equipment.
* Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
* Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training desired.
* Experience soldering.
* Experience with harness fabrication.
