We have an outstanding career for opportunity for a Tool Designer/Toolmaker to join a leading Company located in the Rosemead, CA surrounding area.

Salary Range: $76,960 - $83,200

Responsibilities:
• Design and machine tooling for manufacture of components and assemblies for all processes throughout the facility
• Create component and assembly drawings for the manufacturing of tools, such as small assembly tools, holding fixtures, rubber molds, dies, flat & pierce dies, and glass dies), in accordance with verbal instruction (no drawing), sketches, and prints
• Operate and maintain equipment and machinery to produce the highest levels of quality and meet the demands of production
• Provide feedback to the supervisor on all issues pertaining to work, safety, and problems with machinery and tools
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Maintain good work habits and ethics with minimum supervision
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor and management
• Participate in cross-training efforts with other departments to acquire additional skills and knowledge for advancement

Basic Hiring Criteria:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• A complete understanding of tool manufacturing, from CAD design (Solidworks experience required) through machining, heat treating, assembly, and validation of the design, is required
• Needs to be highly proficient in close tolerance machining using manual tool room equipment and/or CNC equipment
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, as well as follow directions
• This position requires US export authorization
