JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician II
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $32.18 per hour

Summary:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.
Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft with minimal supervision.
Coordinate with inspection and management teams to ensure compliance with FAA and internal documentation requirements.
Complete work orders and paperwork accurately and on time.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Safely store and tag customer property and equipment.
Operate ground support equipment following standard procedures.
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Train less experienced technicians.
Protect customer property (PTP).
Safely collect and dispose of waste materials.
Maintain a clean work environment by applying 6S and Lean Initiatives.
Implement continuous improvement processes.
Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment.
Comply with safety rules and procedures, addressing unsafe conditions as needed.
Use the material tracking system for parts demand, squawks, sign-offs, and labor charges.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.
Valid Driver's License required.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station manuals, and company policies.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
