Systems Engineer will Evaluate High Level Customer Specifications and Decompose them into System Level Requirements

• Evaluate Customer and Internal Problem reports for impacts on System Level Requirements and make appropriate changes as needed.

• Provide estimates to Management of work scope for Requirements Design/Update, System test activity, Problem resolution.

• Design, Develop, Perform Scenario Based System Level testing. Perform reviews of all phases of testing of other engineers efforts.

o Scenario Based testing differs from requirements based testing is that a multiple spectrum of requirements and systems can be involved with Flight logical scenarios of what actions are performed by various systems as well as fault reporting and handling during tests that mimic typical and atypical situations that do, will, or may arise during aircraft operations, in air or on the ground.

• Provide Feedback to Customer concerning issues raised that impact on Customer Specifications. Partake in planning activity for resolution.

• Maintain requirements in all activities in a DOORs environment.

• Maintain issue and progress tracking across multiple tracking tools and provide timely reports to Management.

• Interface with offshore resources for requirements and software developers to ensure coordination and quality at all phases of the project.

The Display and Graphics Utilities team provides support to the overall Display functions by being a processing intermediary for the various subsystems in the aircraft passing data from the subsystem, to the Displays with any processing needed. Subsystems so served involve, but are not limited to Air Management, Auxiliary power units, Miscellaneous Avionics systems, Braking, Electrical, Flight Controls, Fire Protection, Hydraulics, Interior Cabin/Cargo systems, Landing Gear, Powerplant and Propulsion, FADEC, and Maintenance.
