• Analyze cost or price on procurements of moderate value, risk and complexity
• Coordinate risk assessments and execute risk management plans for low to moderate risk procurements
• Analyze purchasing needs, including analysis of costs
• Forecast requirements, issue periodic reports on trends, and negotiate pricing, discounts, and contracts
• Review requirements document (statement of work, drawings and specifications) for clarity and adequacy
• Identify potential resources for required materials, equipment, supplies and services, and develop and issue request for proposals
• Respond to supplier inquires and coordinate source selection decisions with other activities
• Negotiate terms and conditions, price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements and document the entire fact finding/negotiation process to meet file documentation requirements
• Ensure all procurement actions that commit the company properly documented, reviewed, and approved consistent with policy and procedure
• Work toward supporting the overall business by using goals to reduce cost, improve quality and order fulfillment by executing with proficiency the PO placement process
• Understand Quality System processes to include a working knowledge of Counterfeit Parts procedures including the use of an ASL

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
