Supply Chain Contracts Senior Professional

Are you a Supply Chain Contracts Professional with a high level of experience utilizing your skills in strategic sourcing techniques and different analyses? Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team environment with an aerospace company who's goal is to change how the world flies? The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Evaluates current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts
* Prepares and issue requests for proposal (RFPs)
* Facilitates the bid evaluation and down-selection process.
* Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations
* Employs cost scenario models
* Contracts strategy techniques
* Negotiates support tools to advance the commodity’s key supply chain objectives
* Finalizes contract awards. In all activities
* Ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
* 5-8 years relevant professional experience.
* Experience with strategic sourcing strategy and techniques, financial analysis, cost analysis of commodity, Raw Materials, service, etc.
* Experience and understanding of direct/indirect commodity pricing.
* Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Master's degree.
* Knowledge and/or experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
* Experience working on cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Demonstrated and strong data analysis skills
* Strong computer skills in database theory and execution
* Excellent oral and written skills
* Experience in Microsoft Office including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access.
* Leadership and team building skills desired
* Understanding of procurement and supply chain management preferred
