Civil Engineer

Description:
Seeking a motivated civil engineer. The primary task of this role will be to coordinate all phases of infrastructure construction projects. Knowledge of the design life cycle process from requirements definition, permitting, project construction, and project sign-off is a plus.

• Supports review of infrastructure plans and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements & regulations
• Supports the creation of project buy-off requirements
• Acts as general contractor for various infrastructure projects
• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate project completion

Requirements
• B.S. degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering is required
• Current professional engineering license in the State of California or other state with reciprocity
• Working knowledge of California commercial building codes and ordinances
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks design software is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
• Strong team player and ability to work independently with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
