What You’ll Do:

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex test, measurement, and control software based upon documented requirements.
Responsible for creating and maintaining preliminary and detailed level software design products for presentation internally and to customers.
Develop, review and test software components for adherence to the requirements and documents test results.
Document and resolve software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Provide inputs to system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development.
Work closely with engineers and manufacturing to define and implement new product test plans, procedures, and processes in an effort to achieve optimal test coverage in the most efficient manner.
Support ongoing production test needs including creating/modifying test software.
Develop manufacturing diagnostics to make the debug process more efficient.
Write and revise test procedures for new and existing assemblies and products.Initiates and/or reviews ECPs that impact test software, procedures, and tools associated with factory test equipment. Implements changes required to test software, procedures, and tools.
Position requires SW engineers to work with Systems and HW (EE/ME) engineers developing test stations, integrating COTS HW (power supplies/DMMs/dummy loads/scopes/etc.) to test custom electronics assemblies being produced for the Government.
What You’ll Need:

Potential to stat without a clearance based on technical experience; Prefer candidates with Active Secret Clearance however will consider candidates that have Interim Secret Clearance OR the Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance.
Can work individually, collaboratively with other developers, and as part of a larger integrated product team.
A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with the development of test software using National Instruments (NI) Automated Test Software Suite (LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, and Test Stand).
Skillsets equivalent to those associated with NI Software Engineer level or higher

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree combined with 9 + years of relevant work experience.
