Senior Project Engineer

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Senior Project Engineer for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Huntsville, AL.

** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship **

Duties:
1. Our client seeks a Senior Project/Product Engineer for their Huntsville, AL location.
2. The Senior Project Engineer will plan and perform propulsion program tasks in conjunction with program management.
3. Under limited general direction, you will implement design and analysis tasks, special studies, experiments, and hardware/test requirements.
4. Additionally, you will coordinate ballistic, thermal, and structural analyses, as well as perform post-test examination, analyses, and reporting.

You should also have the ability to successfully:
1. Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of engineering techniques.
2. Conceive and plans projects involving the development of new methods to attain objectives.
3. Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas.
4. Lead investigation activity if sufficient experience in investigation of tools and procedures has been demonstrated.
5. Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals.
6. Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments.
7. May provide technical guidance to less senior project engineers and project support personnel.
8. May be assigned Cost Account Management duties.
9. May perform as the engineering cost account manager.

Skills:
Required:
1. Three (3) or more years of experience with solid propellant propulsion projects is highly desired.
2. CAD knowledge is desirable.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.
4. Aerospace experience desired.

Education:
1. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and five (5) or more years of directly related experience.
