Avionics Engineer

Description:
·       Create/edit test cards relevant to company tests and type certificate tests.
·       Conduct functional acceptance and verification testing, establishing means of verifications for requirements (flight testing, rig testing, ground test, and analysis).
·       Write test reports and document testing bugs.
·       Investigate and troubleshoot all bugs found on the ASIR or MFC test programs.
·       Support the maintenance of the ASIR, according to the prescribed program.
·       Manage the ASIR configuration and utilize work orders to carry out operations.
·       Assist with Avionics systems and ASIR performance during testing.
·       Conduct certification testing for Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) system.
·       Coach MITAC members regarding professional knowledge in the V&V and Navigation Systems.
·       Support V&V audit activities both internally and externally.
·       Review technical documents, technical calculations, interface discussions with Test Engineering and Design Engineering Teams.
·       Conduct tests on the aircraft, gather data, and ensure the results of the test match the approved Test Cards. If not, troubleshoot the systems to find the root cause and recommend solutions.
·       Support Maintenance and Liaison Engineers during scheduled maintenance activities and down time.
·       Monitor and evaluate the status of Restrictions and create/update/remove according to the current aircraft configuration.
·       Create and send daily Handover email describing Avionic Engineering activities.
