Job Summary:
Looking for engineer to be part of the new Production of the F-16 and other project opportunities.

Aeronautical Engineer required to assist with the Material Review Board (MRB) to support detail fabrication, sub-assembly, component assembly, and mate through delivery operations.

Primary duties of this assignment include technical solution development and coordination, and preparation and release of dispositions related to discrepancies on high performance aircraft detail parts, assemblies, installations and finishes.
Support Planning reviews for F-16 Production through all phases of the F-16 Production.

Primary duties of this job will support the Planning tasks as the production planning is created, support the on-site MRB engineers to include anomaly investigation, technical solution development and coordination with the MRB engineer for preparation and release of dispositions related to discrepancies on high performance aircraft detail parts, assemblies, installations and finishes.

Additionally, this position requires skills as an Airframe Design Engineer to use their technical expertise to design aircraft structure and subsystems installations. The candidate will have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of aircraft structure design. The candidate will be responsible for layout and detail modeling of aircraft structure, structural assemblies, layouts and detail drawings using CATIA V5 and CADDAM, participating in trade studies, creating and maintaining interface control drawings, and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

The engineering candidate will be required to coordinate across many functional areas and Aero sites, including Stress/DADT, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures and Systems Design groups, Safety, Materials and Processes and Flight Sciences. Chosen candidate will work closely with the production floor, support process improvements, incorporate best practices into daily operations, and coordinate lessons learned and corrective action.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 6 years’ experience with aircraft design, assembly, production or repair is required.

Must possess experience with making timely decisions and possess the ability to understand and manage financial impacts created by specific decisions.
Candidate must value and support diversity.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering field is required.
