PDS Tech Commercial Inc, is seeking a Health and Safety Analyst 3 in Melbourne, Florida for an Aerospace Company:

Job Title: Health and Safety Analyst 3
Job Type: Full time; contract (12 months)
Location: Melbourne, FL 32901
Schedule: 1st shift, onsite. 9x80
Pay Rate: $21.98--$27.48 per hour
 
Job Description: 
-Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and takes preliminary samples and measurements of hazardous forces and toxic substances, removes hazards and/or protects employees by guarding, revising work procedures, and training or requiring use of protective clothing and personal protective equipment. 
-Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions of any labor agreement, ensuring that all required records are prepared and maintained. 
-Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections and in any procedures that may follow a citation. Investigates, prepares, and forwards as required reports on injuries and fatalities. 
-Conducts safe work procedures training courses.
 
Experience/ Education: 
-B.S. or MS in a Safety, Environmental Science or related STEM field and 5 years' experience or 3 years with a MS
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in an EHS position
-Perform worksite audits, inspections and evaluations.
-Experience managing various EHS compliance programs based upon the review and interpretation of EHS regulations and/or experience in completing industrial hygiene assessments and sampling.
-Thorough knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI regulations and standards
-Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills with all levels of an organization.
-Must have the ability to solve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources; consistently looking for novel ways to solve problems; mastering unfamiliar information, tasks and situations quickly and effectively.
-Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
